Defensive pistol

ASR Basic Pistol course is designed for the new and experienced gun owner who desires to learn and strengthen skills in the fundamental elements of safely, ethicaly and effectively using a handgun. During this course, students will gain comfort and familiarity with their handgun in a stress-free environment, while strictly adhering to the four firearm safety rules. Basic Pistol provides a solid foundation of skills to increase your personal preparedness. This course is with rare exception required to attend any advanced ASR firearms class.

 

Class instruction includes the safe handling of fire arms on and off the range, gear selection and set up, cleaning and maintenance, fundamentals of marksmanship, use of the pistol from concealment and emergency vs tactical reloads. Special consideration is given to the use of  defensive firearms in a modern setting with multiple potential threats.

 

 

You will need:

 

250 rounds of ammunition

Pistol

3 magazines

2 magazines carrier

Sturdy belt

Holster OWB or IWB

Eye protection

Electric hearing protection

Snacks and water

Rain/cold/inclement weather clothing and sturdy shoes

 

Course Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
