ASR’s Advanced Stop the Bleed and Shock Management class is 4-hour long block of instruction taught as a stand-alone class but is also part of our TCCC course. Each student will receive a ASR standard trauma kit with the completion of class. ASR uses highly professional instructors from both the civilian and military worlds with decades of real-world experience. Instruction topics include the basics of shock and shock management, types of bleeding and use of the MARCH algorithm. Skills practiced include application of a tourniquet, wound packing, application of chest seal and application of a pressure dressing. By developing the confidence and competence to use these skills when it counts you make yourself more ready to face the challenges of a turbulent would.
